Pet's Hotel

I spend the whole of Saturday looking for Pet Hotel at Pasir Ris Farmway. I was actually intending to take a look at the boarding place which my cats will be staying when I go away for holiday. I wouldn't able to forgive myself if I have let them gone and stay there when I'm away.

Sigh, first of all Pasir Ris Farmway location have hundreds of puppies plus boarding dogs, the barking are incredible. And most of the boarding house are mostly smelly and they are cages, some like big bird cage, some like our toilet cubicles, or prison cells. Yap! they are like prison cells, some place you send your pets away for punishment, all very depressing. Found one decent one at Edison, it is in-door, sounded proofed thus shutting the barking noise from the neigbhourhood, it is aircon-ed, no stinky smell, glass partition, with a koi pond outside. It is $30 per cat, pricey.

Another heart break situation I saw were many cats/pets ( group of 4- 10 ) were housed at these boarding home "long term". Which mean like left in there like old folks home kind of situation. I really don't know what to say, well if they are not home there (which is not cheap), they will either be put down, or become wandering strays who does not know how to survive outdoor on their own.

Sigh, Sterilize save lives.

Saffi Lost!

I was wondering why the cats were so quiet. When i went downstairs to look for them I was shocked that the gate was wide opened. When I got to the gate, Elliot was sneaking up the staircase. He ran back to the carpark as he saw me but I manage to catch him.

Saffi was nowhere to be found, was checking under every cars, calling out to her. She didn't respond. Only after 10 min, she crept out of some bush and run up neighbour's house.

Sigh! So dangerous!

I went by the clinic to drop off the milk bottles and milk powder. The nurse mentioned that all 5 of them are healthy and good. The foster family very happy with the 5 kittens and their kids are taking turns to look after them. I'm happy for them.
Thank you all for all your help :)

Flatten

I was changing the super heavy queen size mattress which sink very deep into the bed, I could barely lifted up one corner of the mattress. As I quickly put on one corner of the cover using my knee to support the mattress, I dropped that corner in exhaustion, and walk over to another corner. THEN, I heard cat scrambling sound. Quickly, I turned around, Saffi still on desk but Oscar was not on his throne! My heart dropped and touched the floor. There was a spilt moment of pause and disbelief then I hurried to lift up that corner. Gosh! there was the little stupid idiot! He clawed his nails tightly to my back as I carried him. I teared, I don't think it because he clawed me :(
Good thing he fat, if not flatten already.

As he wandered outside. Another one decided to attempt the same suicidal act as I put the cover on for another end. This time Saffi, aiyo if it happen to Saffi we will get long hair fur rug. :P

Hiding in the pet's condo after been crashed.

Kittens found foster home

The vet has found a lady to foster all 5 of them. Will still have to find them home when they are bigger.

The cats are back to their self again, much more relax. Saffi, poking her nose into my Cold Storage plastic bags. Oscar and Elliot chasing each other, doing the Matrix-stunt; jump up into the air, slow-mooootion and attack act.

Place seem very quiet without the 5 little ones.
Hope they get stronger soon.

Drinking the milk bottle on its own.

They are now all At sunset Way Clinic - The vet, nurses, and student vets are all helping them to find a home. So far they found one a new home, they will keep trying. They fed them milk with something else hope that will stop the diarrhea. I'm going to pick the balance up tonight at 8. Really grateful for their help.

Bought Possum for the rest of them to eat. Elliot is too pre-occupied checking the place for intruders.

I took the trash out this evening. The siamese cat was in the carpark. He/She sniff the trash and the just walked up stairs to my door. Saffi and Elliot stared hard. When the cat was an arm length away, Saffi was in her fight pose, Elliot "MEORRW", the siamese cat hurried away.

Boyboy helped find Elliot

I went outside to empty the trash last night. As usual, Elliot and Saffi went outside to kpo kpo. Typically they will just sit outside the door in the night. But today Elliot decided to eat grass at the car park in the middle of the night. Then suddenly I saw him with a slightly bushy tail in the middle of the carpark then he ran across to the otherside and hid under the car. I went after him cars after cars. He refused to come out so I thought lets him him sometime he will walk back. 15 min passed, he didn't return and he was not under any of the cars on the opposite side. I panic, not going to start the new yr without him. I went upstairs to bring some toys with bells down to lure him out, but was in vain. Then boyboy came, I ask him has he seen Elliot. Then he meow softly 2 times and look across. I look across and there was Elliot hiding under the car on the other side, still refusing to come out, maybe he is scare of Boyboy. I look a walk with Boyboy to the playground, he followed and sat beside me on the bench. He's such a human cat. thank you Boyboy.

Elliot is back home. All 3 of them are still bossy me around.

Happy New Year to all!
