Injection under the skin

The vet has required me to administer painkiller jab under the skin.
Pinch the skin using thumb and index finger and poke the needle through the pocket space and jab. So far 2 attempted are like spraying the painkiller into his fur, even though one attempt has the needle stuck to his skin.
3rd attempt seem fine. Will try again tomorrow. Night.

My crying, tearing cat.

Back from another day of boarding. Nurse Paige says Oscar is a funny character. When she takes the pill popper out, he will start to cry and tear & salivate. So like chum chum, dripping all over from eyes and mouth. But nurse Paige always hugs, cuddles and sayangs him after, I reckoned becoz he is a cute "fei chey" with pink nose.

Running a blood test tomorrow, I really hope we don't have to eat medicine anymore. Really thankful of Jireh Vet Clinic loving care of him, sigh but just very painful on my pocket for the 22km I have to travel each way.

Gallivanting

Elliot refused to return, and can't coax him.
He returned at 4am in the morning. Knocked at my room's door, warmed my foot & slept.

Warming my foot to not going to buy him opportunity to go out gallivanting on the roof top.

Going home after boarding

S-m-i-l-e
We are heading home from the day boarding. Oscar very kuai at the clinic took his medicines all in 5 min, one siting, twice today. The nurses all adored him and took turn to take photo to him. I guess these made my day. :)

Going to board Oscar in the morning

Oscar puked again after eating. I have given up feeding him medicine, the pill popper was just siting on my desk, he saw and he foamed up. His stool getting softer by the day.

Really hope 2 of them be strong and healthy soon

Brotherhood?

After several failed attempts to feed Oscar his med, I asked Andy for help. We were on a wild goose chase, Oscar was fleeing and hissing. Totally off guard, I felt a sharp pain on my foot, Elliot punctured 3 holes on my foot. Not sure he ran over my foot or attacked me.

He sneak up and fight Andy. Standing on his hind legs and with his martial arts patterns, he punctured 1 hole on Andy's hand. He continued his pursue and chased Andy to kitchen. Fierce!

Enjoying the afternoon breeze

This little one puked again this afternoon

Pill popper

Been 2 days of failed attempts in getting Oscar to take his meds ( 5 kinds ).

Linda from Jireh Vets Clinic says popping pill is the only way to go as cats are v smart at picking up the slightest smell or taste of medicine.

With the help of Andy, we finally manage to get 3 pills into his system. Andy held him down with a towel and I popped the pills at the back of his throat. These have to be done 3 times. He put up a fight & hissed big time, but these are all for his own good. Thanks Andy!

Elliot finally started eating his renal food from the bowl. Manage to pop 2 pills to him using the pill popper.

The 2 of them are angry with me, both hanging in the room as I work in the living room, usually they will be near.

Oscar is also sick

Oscar will be on liquid diet for 2 weeks. He puked yesterday and this morning, plus the many other occasions I have nagged about.

He has Pancreas issue. Medication 3 times a day. So far he is impossible to feed. He can't agree with convalescence support thus puked more and salivates excessively.

Tried with Yakult, not very successful. Tried wrapping med with a ball of fussy fish food, not too great too.
He's been quiet, vet say he is likely in pain. Sigh.
